The 2025 Hi-Tec Oils Bathurst 6 Hour, happening this Easter weekend (18-20 April), promises another thrilling chapter in endurance racing. This year, the iconic Race For A Cure car, driven by Ben and Michael Kavich, along with Supercars star Thomas Randle, hits the track with a bold new orange livery, symbolising their partnership with Thryv®.
Returning to Mount Panorama, the Kavich brothers and Randle form a formidable team, united not just by their racing skills but also by their shared mission to support Breast Cancer Trials (BCT). Since launching Race For A Cure in 2017, the initiative has raised nearly $250,000 to fund life-saving research, inspired by the Kavich family’s personal connection to the cause.
Ben Kavich says, “Thryv’s support fuels both our racing ambitions and our commitment to funding life-saving breast cancer research. It’s a bold and colourful move and we love it.”
“We have shared an incredible journey with Yellow, but now it’s time to turn the page and write the next chapter in orange with Thryv. It’s fresh, it’s fearless and it reflects the energy we are bringing to the track this year.”Elise Balsillie, Head of Thryv Australia and New Zealand, is thrilled to see Thryv’s presence on the Bathurst grid evolve.
“Our partnership with the Kavich brothers has always been about driving impact – on the track and in the lives of Australians facing breast cancer. The switch to orange symbolises Thryv’s continued dedication to making a difference. Just like small businesses, endurance racing is all about precision, strategy and resilience – values Thryv shares with Ben and Michael.”
With a rich racing history and an unmatched passion for making a difference, the Kavich brothers are ready to push the limits once again. Whether you’re there for the adrenaline or the inspiring mission, the 2025 Bathurst 6 Hour is set to be a race to remember. Don’t miss the action this Easter!
