Pop star Justin Timberlake has been charged with drunk driving in Sag Harbor, a village in New York’s Hamptons. Timberlake, 43, was allegedly driving a 2025 BMW when he ran a stop sign and veered out of his lane around 12:30 am on Tuesday.
According to court documents, Timberlake exhibited signs of intoxication, including bloodshot eyes, the smell of alcohol, and poor performance on sobriety tests. He admitted to having one martini and following friends home. After being arrested and taken to a police station in East Hampton, Timberlake refused a breath test.
The 10-time Grammy winner was arraigned and released without bond on Tuesday morning. He faces a misdemeanour charge of driving while intoxicated, with his next court date set for July 26. Timberlake’s lawyer and representatives have not commented. Despite the charges, Timberlake has upcoming shows in Chicago and New York’s Madison Square Garden later this month.
