The Art Gallery of Ballarat’s visitor numbers are up, but there’s still a way to go to get back to pre-Covid levels.
The City of Ballarat says more than 113,000 people took a look through the gallery last financial year; up 33 per cent on the year prior.
Pre-coronavirus, the numbers were around 190,000.

The gallery is currently hosting the 10th Ballarat International Foto Biennale, with the event expected to attract around 30,000 people to the city over the next 7 weeks.
