Four extra charges have been laid against a 17-year-old from the Ballarat region following the alleged illegal boarding of a commercial plane at Avalon Airport earlier this month.
On the 14th of March Victoria Police laid Commonwealth charges including assaulting a member of an airline crew, attempted hijack and prejudicing the safe operation of an aircraft with intent to kill.
The charges were not laid by the AFP.

The investigation by the Illicit Firearms Squad remains ongoing.
“As the matter is before court, we are not in a position to comment further,” said Victoria Police via a statement.
