$100,000 will be given to 17 community groups and projects as part of the Ballarat Foundation’s 2023 Community Grants Program.
Projects receiving funding included the Meals for Change Cafe Meals program from Uniting Vic, a garden bed replacement at the Lucas Community Garden and a garden to kitchen program at the Sebastopol Men’s Shed.
Chair of the Foundation, Wayne Weaire, said the volume and quality of applications for this year’s program was very high.

He said the foundation is pleased to be able to provide funding where it is most needed to ensure all members of the community are well supported.
