The biggest girls-only junior soccer tournament in Australia returns to Ballarat from Friday for three big days.
It’s the third edition of the Western United Cup to be played at the Ballarat Regional Soccer Facility.
Second year Western United A-League star Kiara De Domizio, who’ll attend the event on Saturday, says entries have been strong.
“This year we’ve smashed previous records with over 95 registered teams so it should be a really exciting event.”
“It’ll take place over three days with over 260 games to be played,” Ms. De Domizio said.
Local clubs participating include Ballarat City FC, Ballarat SC, Creswick, Daylesford and Daylesford Hepburn United.
