A 25-year-old Sunshine North man has been charged following a non-fatal shooting in Sebastopol last month.
It follows an incident in the early hours of June 24th, where police were called to an Edwards Street address after reports of gunshots.
A 25-year-old man was found with a gunshot wound to the upper body and was treated for serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
At this stage, police believe the incident was targeted.
The man was interviewed by investigators and charged with a number of offences, including home invasion, intentionally causing serious injury and unlicenced driving.
A police search of a Sunshine address found a number of mobile phones and a taser, which were seized by officers.
He appeared at the Melbourne Magistrates Court last night.
