Police are calling for the public’s help to find a man allegedly involved in a stolen ute crash.
It’s believed the suspect stole a blue Ford ute parked on Albert Street in Sebastopol at around 7am on February 21st.
The next day, the ute was involved in a crash on the Hume Highway at Craigieburn at around 10:35pm.
The driver removed a number of items from the ute and fled on foot, leaving the car behind.
Police would like to speak to a man [pictured] they believe may be able to assist them in the investigation.
He is described as Caucasian, in his late 20’s or early 30’s, around 170 to 175 centimetres tall with a slim build and dark hair.
He was seen wearing light coloured shorts, dark running shoes, a black jumper with a grey stripe on the arm and chest area and a dark coloured hat.
