Police have released an image of a man wanted over a petrol theft in Ballarat.
The man filled up a blue Holden Commodore at a local service station on October 7 before taking off without paying.
The car was fitted with false registration plates, number UZC-546.

Police are asking anyone with information or who believes they may know the man in the picture to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the website at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au.
