Ballarat AFLW star Amy McDonald has missed out on Geelong’s best and fairest award this year, after taking out the trophy three times in a row.
Ms. McDonald is only the second player in the club’s history to win three consecutive club best and fairest awards.
Amy finished third with 82 votes this year, with Georgie Prespakis taking out the gong with 188 votes.

Nina Morrison was second with 163 votes.
It’s another loss in the best and fairest category for Amy this year, after she was crowned runner up for the league’s top honour to Monique Conti.
