The City of Ballarat have assured residents there’s no change to parking in the CBD.
In April, locals were asked what they thought of the cities car parking and whether they would support a 7pm extension of parking hours to assist businesses.
The council says based on the survey results, Ballarat’s parking system will remain unchanged, with many believing the current system is working.

Data collected by council also found 80 per cent of cars parked in the CBD between 9am and 5:30pm stay for less than an hour.
