Victorian Police have launched a fresh search for the body of Samantha Murphy, more than seven months since her disappearance.
Officers, along with Missing Person Squad detectives and members of the Australian Federal Police, are focusing on bushland near Ballarat.
The search is continuing today, with police asking members of the public to stay away from search efforts at this time.

The 51-year-old failed to return from a run in February, with 22-year-old Patrick Orren Stephenson charged with her alleged murder in March.
