New dining hall opens in redeveloped Ballarat Goods Shed

From today, Ballarat locals will be able to experience a new culinary offering in the city, as the new dining hall opens in the redeveloped Goods Shed.

It comes after the events hall, theatre and function spaces opened in the railway precinct around 10 months ago.

Developer Nando Pellicano says next-up, they’d like to activate the outdoor areas including the mini amphitheater.

“That’s something we’re working on behind the scenes,” he said.

“We just wanted to try and get the venues open and stabilized first, but because there’s so much space and parking available, we are brainstorming and in discussions where we’d like to try and activate it.”
