An adult eating disorder clinic is opening today at the Ballarat Base Hospital.
A doctor, dietician and a psychologist will all be situated in the same clinic, helping to streamline support and provide a full assessment.
Doctor Sam Holgate says the service will help people who travel to metropolitan areas to get a review.

“Up to this date, people have had to travel down to Melbourne to seek reviews and appointments from a similar sort of service, so I think having this service within the Grampians Health region and in Ballarat will be very beneficial for people,” he said.
