Police are investigating a crash between a motorbike and a kangaroo west of Ballarat last night.
Emergency services responded to reports of a rider falling from their bike at Haddon around 9pm.
A 61-year-old local man was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries, while the kangaroo died at the scene on Haddon School Road.

Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident are ongoing.
