A man has died in an early Saturday morning crash at Windermere, northwest of Ballarat.
Emergency services were called to the Western Highway, near Powells Road, at around 4:15am, after reports of a two-vehicle crash.
A second man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The exact circumstances surrounding the crash are yet to be determined and investigations are ongoing.
