A Ballarat man has been arrested by Missing Persons Squad detectives, as part of their investigations into the suspicious disappearance of Samantha Murphy.
The 22-year-old man was arrested shortly after 6am yesterday at his home address and remains in custody – although so far, no charges have been laid.
Ms. Murphy was last seen leaving her Eureka Street home on the morning of February 4th.
Despite a significant investigation and searches of the Canadian Forest area, Ms. Murphy is still yet to be found.
Police say they have spoken with a number of people as part of this investigation and urge anyone who has CCTV or dash-cam footage to come forward.
Anyone who sights Samantha is asked to call 000 immediately.
