A Winter Valley toddler has been flown to Melbourne with serious lower body injuries, after being attacked by a dog.
The newsroom understands the boy was in a backyard, when he was attacked at around 4:40pm yesterday afternoon.
He was taken by air ambulance to the Royal Children’s Hospital, where he remains in a stable condition.

In a statement, City of Ballarat CEO Evan King said the council’s Animal Services Team removed two dogs alleged to be involved in the incident.
A formal investigation is underway.
