Her Majesty’s Theatre will officially reopen its doors to the public next month with a spectacular gala event.
The aptly titled ‘Resurgence’ will take place on November 22nd, celebrating the city’s creative scene with a program of local artists and curated by ARIA-nominated Ballarat-based composer, Sam Boon.
The event will mark the end of stage three redevelopments to Her Majesty’s, costing $16.3 million.
Speaking yesterday, Mr. Boon says they’re excited to showcase the theatre with a majority of original music and Ballarat artists.
“We’re just trying to bring everyone together and showcase some really amazing local Ballarat talent with this amazing orchestral concert, to remember Her Majesty’s and also showcase what’s going to happen in the future,” he said.
