A local MP has been unable to commit to building two multi-storey carparks in central Ballarat, promised back in 2018.
Promised back in 2018, the proposed parks near Federation University’s SMB campus and in the Little Bridge Street shopping precinct have long been part of the Regional Car Parks Fund plan.
Up to 300 new free timed car parking spaces have been promised at both sites.

Speaking on Ballarat Today this week, Member for Wendouree, Juliana Addison, said they are delivering on this, but she’ll have to ‘dot some I’s and cross some T’s.’
Ms. Addison says they’ll have more to say on the parking situation soon.
