The second day of the AFL national draft has proved far more successful for the Greater Western Victoria Rebels.
Four players are on their way to AFL clubs after being picked on Tuesday night: Luamon Lual to Essendon, Joel Freijah to the Western Bulldogs, Lachlan Charleson to Port Adelaide and George Stevens to Geelong.
In 2022, Darley’s Aaron Cadman went as the number one selection to the GWS Giants, but no Rebels were chosen in the first round of the draft this year.
