Police have seized a firearm, drugs and fireworks from a Gordon property.
As part of an investigation into the manufacturing of firearms, a local man was arrested by Criminal Proceeds Squad detectives yesterday afternoon.
Police allege that during a search of the property, officers located and seized a longarm, ammunition, 29 cannabis plants and commercial fireworks.
A Confiscation Act restraining order was also issued for the Gordon property in the County Court last month.
The 47-year-old was charged with a number of offences, including possessing a trafficable quantity of firearms, cultivating a narcotic plant and possessing unsecured ammunition.
He will appear in the Melbourne Magistrates Court today.
Police urge anyone with information about illicit firearms to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
