Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal collision in Buangor this afternoon.
Investigators have been told a car and truck collided on the Western Highway about 12.30pm forcing the closure of the road.
The yet-to-be-identified driver of the car died at the scene.

The driver and passenger of the truck were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
