End in sight for Ballarat road improvement blitz

The end is in sight for Ballarat’s $60 million road improvement blitz called ‘Keeping Ballarat Moving’.

A round-a-bout currently being built on the Dyson Drive / Ballarat-Carngham Road intersection is the final piece of the puzzle.

Michael Bailey from the Department of Transport says more projects are being planned.

“We’re already working on the proposed duplication for Ballarat-Carngham Road, so we’ve got $6.6 million we’re spending on the development and pre-construction of that one,” he said.

“Once we establish what that looks like, we’ll start to look at construction funding and how much that will cost.”
