Daylesford has been crowned one of the most welcoming cities on Earth by a major digital travel company.
Booking.com named the town on its 2024 list based on the share of local accommodation providers receiving one of their Traveller Review Awards.
Coming in at fourth on the list, it was beaten to number one by Viana do Castelo in Portugal and Ermoupoli in Greece, with Arraial d’Ajuda in Brazil taking the top spot.

In a statement, Mayor of the Hepburn Shire Council, Brian Hood, said this was an incredible result for Daylesford.
He said visitors are spoilt for choice with retail outlets, galleries and markets to explore.
