Cyclo-Cross championships return to Ballarat for its second year

It’s all systems go for the second Cyclo-Cross National Championships in Ballarat.

From tomorrow, around 250 riders are expected to compete on the grueling Victoria Park course across two days.

AusCycling’s Kipp Kaufmann says Ballarat is in the box seat to host the event again next year, although nothing has been decided as yet.

“We’re still looking at that. It’s at the end of the season, so [there’s] a little bit of work to do about 2025,” he said.

“We are certainly committed with that team to continually have large scale cyclo-cross in Ballarat.”
