Construction begins on multi-million-dollar bank upgrade

Construction works have begun on a $3.6 million upgrade to NAB’s Ballarat banking hub.

When the building reopens in late September, the state-of-the-art facilities will include capacity for around 40 bankers to serve the Ballarat region.

Customers will still be able to do their banking at Australia Post outlets across the city or the NAB Delacombe branch while construction is taking place.

NAB Victoria’s Executive of Retail, Mil Kairouz, says it’s a multi-million-dollar vote of confidence in Ballarat, which is a regional powerhouse of western Victoria.
