Ballarat’s elite private school has been found to consistently be one of the best performing in the state and country.
This according to NewsCorp analysis of NAPLAN results compiled from the Federal Government’s MySchool website over 5 years, taking in Year 5 and Year 9 tests between 2017 and 2021.
In the results, Clarendon ranked fifth in Australia for overall performance, coming in behind three NSW schools at the top and Melbourne’s Presbyterian Ladies College in fourth place.
In Victoria, Clarendon is the TOP performing regional school ahead of The Kilmore International School and St. Mary’s School in Donald.
In terms of year averages, Clarendon had the best regional Year 5 NAPLAN results for the period, and second best Year 9 results behind Berwick’s Nossal High School.
