The Ballarat Wildlife Park have launched a campaign, raising funds to get more gum trees planted for koalas.
The initiative, aptly named ‘Branching Out for Koalas’, seeks to address the pressing need for suitable habitats for the iconic Australian marsupials.
The trees will also provide food for more than 35 koalas at the park, the largest colony in captivity in Victoria.
