It’s estimated this year’s Ballarat Begonia Festival had over 10,000 more attendees than last year.
Held over three days, this year’s Ballarat Begonia Festival saw an estimated 55,000 people walk through the botanical garden gates.
That’s compared to last year’s numbers, which only saw around 44,000 people attend the festival.

The city’s biggest annual event saw visitors from far and wide enjoy the floral displays, workshops and iconic parade.
Initial estimates have indicated the festival generated nearly $5.3 million dollars of financial benefits for Ballarat.
