Ballarat has been named one of the politest cities in Australia.
The study from learning platform Preply surveyed over 1,500 people from 22 of the largest metro areas in the country, letting them rate the rudeness of their own town.
Our city was named the 10th most polite city nationally, with the Sunshine Coast coming out on top.

However, Ballarat had the highest number of rude visitors in the country.
Bundaberg in Queensland was named Australia’s rudest city.
