Ballarat residents continue to shun the voting day democracy sausage while turning out for early voting in higher numbers than ever.

The state election is officially held on November 26, however early voting has been permissable without needing a reason since November 14.

The seats of Wendouree and Eureka are showing early voting at 5% and 7% higher than at the same time in the 2018 election respectively, while in Ripon the number of early voters has doubled in that time.
