Ballarat cancer wellness raffle smashes last year’s total

The second annual Cancer Wellness Raffle has smashed last year’s total.

Run by Grampians Health Ballarat and Barry Plant Real Estate, the raffle has raised over $21,000 this year for the Cancer Wellness Centre at Ballarat’s Regional Intergrated Cancer Centre.

This year’s total is over $7,000 more than 2022’s final total.

The first prize in the raffle, a week in a French countryside villa and a travel voucher, was won by Manager of Patient Services at Grampians Health Ballarat, John Bourke.

The Wellness Centre receives no funding from the government, relying on community support to provide its services.
