A Ballarat-based broadcaster has been fined thousands of dollars after they were found to have breached their licence conditions.
Phaze Broadcasting, which operated Phaze Dance Floor Radio and Phaze Country, had their narrowcast stations taken off air in May last year.
After regulators found the company was broadcasting from an unlicenced address, Phaze received an $8,000 fine from the Federal Court and has been required to forfeit three radio transmitters.

The stations are not associated with Radio Ballarat, which operates 3BA and Power FM.
