New data finds ambulances responding faster in Ballarat

Ballarat has recorded faster ambulance response times over the last quarter.

New data released by Ambulance Victoria found the average response time in the city was 13 minutes and 41 seconds, 18 seconds faster than last quarter.

76.9 per cent of Ballarat ambulance callouts took less than 15 minutes to get to the patient.

In contrast, ambulances in the Hepburn Shire took an average of 13 seconds longer to get to an emergency compared to the last quarter, with an average response time of 19 minutes and 42 seconds.

Just 41.1 per cent of ambulance callouts in the Shire got to the patient in less than 15 minutes.
