Record entry numbers from right around Australia have been received for this weekends Ballarat Gift.

This year’s event will feature new junior-gifts for both girls and boys with $1200 prize money on the line in each, the richest in the country.

“Nyajima Jock, you know she’s the form athlete, just coming off Maryborough, just coming off breaking Ballarat records running 11.8.”

“Young Grace Crowe who ran two PB’s at the Victorian Countries is one to watch, she’s a twelve second runner, she won the open Vic Countries and the under 18 Vic Counties, state champion, second in the Ballarat Gift last year,” Mr. O’Dwyer said.

The Ballarat Gift will be held this Saturday and Sunday at City Oval with a full program, as well as for the first time around 50 market stalls.
