‘Big strides’ being taken in local women’s health services

The Clinical Director of Women’s and Children’s Health at Grampians Health, Dr. Natasha Frawley, says big strides are being taken when it comes to local services.

Grampians Health is among one of the first in Victoria to have launched dedicated women’s health clinics focusing on conditions including pelvic pain, abnormal periods and menopause services.

Dr. Frawley says regional and rural women are very caring and are often the carers of others.

“They’re [often] the mainstay of the community, so it’s good to be able to care for people like that,” she said.
