Despite some members of the community expressing concerns over the revised design, work to prepare Ballarat Station for accessibility upgrades officially begins tomorrow.

From Tuesday until late this month, crews will install a site office and workforce parking, carry out underground surveying works and install concrete barriers and fencing.

Around 100 car spaces will be closed in the Ebden Street Reserve until 2026, with around 60 remaining open to the public.
