The Ballarat Miners have finished the season in second place, after a nail-biting NBL1 South men’s grand final.
At Dandenong Stadium, victors Eltham scored 79 points to the Miners 70 points on Saturday night.
Despite the great performances of top point scorers Tyler Rudolph, Majok Majok and Nick Stoddart on the court, a three-pointer from the Wildcats in the last three minutes of the game sealed their win.
And with the season coming to a close, the Miners men’s MVP says he’s not going anywhere.
Tyler Rudolph, who hails from North Dakota, recently picked up his second Ray Borner award.
Tyler says he’ll be back to suit up for the club again next year.
“After last season, I signed a two-year deal, so this is the first of that two-year deal,” he said.
