The Ballarat Show has been cancelled for 2024, after organisers cited the unavailability of a suitable venue to host the event.
In a statement, Show Committee Chair Kerri Gallagher says they’re looking at the potential to run some smaller categories at individual sites, but this will be confirmed later in the year.
The Executive Committee has apologised to all involved in the show, including exhibitors, vendors and the wider community for any inconvenience caused by the cancellation.

It’s understood demolition of the current Creswick Road showgrounds will commence later this year, in preparation for a new athletics facility.
The show is set to return in 2025 at its new home in Mount Rowan.
