A 66-year-old man has been charged following the fatal crash at Daylesford last month that left five people dead.

On November 5th, emergency crews were called to the beer garden of a Vincent Street hotel, after reports of an SUV mounting the kerb and hitting a number of patrons.

A 38-year-old Tarneit man and his 11-year-old son died at the scene, along with a 30-year-old man from Point Cook, his 44-year-old partner and nine-year-old daughter.
