The Ballarat Foundation manages and administers the Ballarat Christmas Appeal, proudly supported by 3BA FM 102.3.

The Ballarat Christmas Appeal raises funds to support people experiencing hardship at Christmas time in the Ballarat community. Funds raised from the appeal are distributed to Ballarat charities which are working directly with individuals and families requiring immediate assistance. These charities are The Salvation Army, Uniting Ballarat, St Vincent De Paul, Ballarat and Anglicare Ballarat.

The first Ballarat appeal conducted by 3BA was in 1980, and since then, millions of dollars in donations has been secured and used to support those in need.

The Ballarat Foundation, as a DGR1 status philanthropic organisation works in partnership with corporate and individual donors to support the Ballarat community and recognises the exceptional work of 3BA as a community leader.

All donations over $2 to the Ballarat Christmas Appeal are fully tax deductible. Donations made online generate an automated receipt to your email address.
