The season of new Mayor’s continues with the Golden Plains and Hepburn Shires welcoming new leaders.
Brett Cunningham will take the reins in the Golden Plains having served on Council since 2020.

“It is an honour and a privilege to be elected as the Mayor of Golden Plains Shire Council,” said Mayor Cr Brett Cunningham.
In Hepburn, Tim Drylie has been replaced by the Coliban Ward’s Brian Hood.
It follows Des Hudson last week being appointed as Ballarat’s next Mayor for 12 months; it’s his second stint in the top job.
