Don’t approach the quaddies in Ballarat…they have work to do

Quad bikes have been let loose to patrol Ballarat’s streets – but they’re not targeting bad behaviour.

The high tech quaddies are being ridden by Ballarat City Council contracted officers to collect data on the state of our footpaths.

The bikes will be out for the next four to six weeks, travelling more than 900 kilometres of our footpath network.

Residents are asked not to approach the bikes while they’re being operated as it could interfere with data collection.
